Why go
Pony.ai reports commercial robotaxi service in parts of Shenzhen. Availability depends on its live operating area and app requirements.
Make it work
- Open PonyPilot or its WeChat mini program and check whether your actual origin and destination are supported.
- Read account, identity, fare and pickup instructions before booking.
- Keep a metro or regular taxi alternative if the service does not cover your route.
Check before you go
Do not travel to a guessed pickup spot; use the operator’s current in-app location.
